A graduate of Rowan University and a Connecticut transplant, Jason brings 10 years of experience in steel connections, renovation, and new construction design.  As he says, there's no real back story to why he became a structural engineer, it kind of just happened!  Luckily for us, he can't see himself doing anything else.  To date, one of his biggest accomplishments is earning his New Jersey PE license.

He is experienced in commercial projects and renovations but is one of our go-to steel connection design engineers for new and existing structures.  Thankfully, steel connection design happens to be his engineering passion! What Jason enjoys the most about being a structural engineer is having something that is just an idea on paper, designing it, and seeing it come to life.

During his time with Cuono, his favorite project has been the elevator and escalator pit installations inside the Target on Bay Parkway in Brooklyn. This was a connection design project with many limitations and challenges involving temporary interior cranes and bracing in an existing retail space constructed on piles over the bay.  When Jason is not working on steel connections, you can find him going on adventures with his wife and dog.
