Okay, so it may not feature Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman, but it's certainly a well-known favorite in the Mamaroneck/Larchmont Community! With four tennis courts and a brand-new playground that opened this year, Memorial Park on Myrtle Blvd is a lovely community area that offers a variety of activities and recreational opportunities for Town Residents, including a miniature track, giant checkers, shuffleboard, and hopscotch underneath the Murray Avenue Bridge. The property also houses a maintenance facility building behind the tennis courts that has, unfortunately, fallen into disrepair.
Lewis + Lewis Architects have designed a new facilities building that will certainly become a much more scenic backdrop to the tennis courts and park. Cuono Engineering is responsible for the structural design of this approximately 3,200 square foot, 2-story facilities building with loft and lower-level garage as well as the design of site retaining walls.
