A Day of Golf
Cuono Engineering Principal and Founder, Ciro Cuono attended the AIA Westchester Hudson Valley Golf Tournament with Cermele & Wood Partner, Mark Cermele. The event is hosted annually to raise scholarship funds for architectural students. The pair were joined by Cuono Senior Associate, Melissa Fitter for the dinner and live auction. What a beautiful day it turned out to be!
The Great Escape
Our team got together at The Escape Game in NYC for our spring team build this year, making a point to add an element of competition! Our 4 squads broke out into two groups to determine which team could navigate through an escape room the quickest. Team Gold Rush consisted of Karen Vaughan, Jason Shaub, Louis Malfitani, Edward Baddour, Dagli Velo, Daniel Binello and Alice Layton. Team Depths consisted of Melissa Fitter, Augustine Joseph, Dan Vainer, Mehrojiddin Aslov, Eric Zagar and Julia Neville. Ultimately it was Team Gold Rush who reigned supreme and will hold bragging rights…until the next event of course.
Reaching Out to Future Engineers
AECI Charter School in the Bronx hosted their annual Career Day this month for students to meet with industry staff from architecture, conservation, design and technology fields. Staff Engineer, Mehrojiddin Aslov was the Cuono Representative, highlighting the world of structural engineering. The event was a huge success with many AEC firms in attendance and an appearance by News 12 to document the event!

We take great pride in the success of our staff and the opportunities for growth within our firm. Cuono Engineering would like to congratulate Augustine Joseph and Daniel Binello on their promotions to Project Engineer and Edward Baddour and Jason Shaub on their promotions to Senior Project Engineer. Additionally, we would like to give a special congrats to Daniel who recently received his P.E. license in the State of New Jersey!
