As engineers, increasing early childhood awareness and interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)-related fields is near and dear to our hearts. Last year, Cuono Engineering partnered with STEM Kids NYC, a local STEM-based educational non-profit, to collect and distribute STEM-related toys for their students for the holidays. We are thrilled to see the wonderment and joy of these young scholars as they explore their gifts!
With many students across the country lacking access to comprehensive STEM programs, it is important to find ways to encourage, inspire and prepare the next generation for future opportunities and careers. Through in-school partnerships as well as after-school, summer camp, and weekend programs, STEM Kids NYC helps to bridge the curriculum gap by providing students with lessons on science, engineering, coding, and other related areas. Cuono Engineering looks forward to a continued partnership with this wonderful organization.
