The former Nathan Miller Center for Nursing Care, originally designed by architect Walter Breger in the 1960’s, will see a new chapter as White Plains Council recently approved special permits to allow for its redevelopment. This adaptive reuse project, as seen in the stunning rendering by Papp Architects, will convert the long vacant nursing home into a multi-family residence, while preserving and restoring its existing structure.
Cuono Engineering is providing structural design services of the new elevator and stair cores, as well as the 1 story vertical expansion.
