Ciro Cuono, PE, Founder and Principal of Cuono Engineering PLLC, is pleased to announce that Tommy Taveras, PE, formerly of Taveras Engineering in Jupiter, Florida, will be joining the firm in June, 2017. The addition of Tommy to the Cuono team expands the team's experience, technical capabilities, and geographic footprint. Integrating Tommy's existing South Florida office into the firm will allow Cuono to better serve its existing and future clients, and will expand the firm's opportunities into both South Florida and the Carribbean.
About Tommy
Tommy Taveras has been practicing structural engineering for the last 20 years. He takes great pride in paying attention to details, providing creative cost-efficient design solutions, and staying attuned to project’s schedule and budget.
For the last 10 years, he has been running his own small consulting firm in south Florida where he has been involved in the design of high-end residential projects in the island of Palm Beach, restoration of historic homes, renovation of healthcare facilities and design of mid-rise hotels.
Before relocating to Florida, Tommy practiced in the NY metropolitan area. There he worked on renovations of commercial and residential buildings and façade restorations of landmark buildings.
