Alice Layton joined Cuono Engineering in 2014, during the very early stages of the firm, and has been an integral part of our day-to-day operations ever since. A graduate of the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies! – Best College Basketball Program EVER!!!), Alice earned her BA in English.

Alice’s many talents, which she has honed over 20 + years, includes marketing, human resources, bookkeeping and accounting, project administration, party planning, and just about anything else that is thrown her way. She has worked at several technical firms and companies including a 9 year stint with the architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum.

Alice is the pleasant and competent voice that our clients often first encounter when interacting with the Firm. When asked her favorite aspect of work, she replied “Seeing the office grow and flourish and being an active contributor to its success”.
